Marcel has been trying to bite again when he gets mad. Does anybody

else have this problem?

Right before Michael's third birthday he went through a bad phase. Suddenly he started biting himself. If I tried to restrain him he would bite me. One day he tried gnawing on a wall because I had him in a hold. It got so bad I had to spank to get him to stop and just cry. I am thankful it only lasted a few weeks. But it was enough to freak me out and really push my mother into seeing he needed help and that she was just in denial. I asked for a referral on his 3 year old check-up.

He hasn't bitten anyone to hurt them, but he does have a little game where he'll giggle and then open his jaws wide like he is going to bite you, and then he'll pause because he wants you to respond and push his head away and say, "Wyatt, you can't do that!  No biting!"

When he gets excited or angry, he'll bite himself.  He does this on his forearm.

That's weird, because Wyatt came home today from school with bite mark bruises all over his arm.  The shuttle bus driver said that the teacher wanted them to let me know that they were aware that Wyatt did this to himself at school.  I guess they didn't want me to think that some other kid bit him.  Anyway, it is a weird coincidence because I've never seen so many bite marks on Wyatt's arm.  It's usually one faint bite mark, but today there's like 7 or so little bite circles.

How did it go with Marcel losing baby teeth?  I wonder what's gonna happen when Wyatt goes through that.  His baby teeth are the cutest, sweetest teeth.  I'm going to miss those when the time comes.

Glad to be home. No major problem with baby teeth & he's still got plenty to bite lol.
