Parents/childs rights in Ga. public schools

Can anyone tell me what a parents rights are for alternative education to a child that is currently in an included classroom enviroment? We have a 12 y/o daughter who is struggling, being put in detention, and is regressing in some areas. Is there any other alternative other than homeschooling? Phys. Ed. is one of the hardest areas and she keeps getting punished for not participating in group/team sports. when we bring up the fact she has Autism, we are told "Physical Education is not part of her IEP" this to me is quite ridiculous. Also, she is being thrust into a sensory overload at lunch, when she is put in with all the other children. Then they are sent out to "socialize" for a while and they expect her to go to the classroom and function in class after all this overload. Short of giving a seminar to the school to explain what autism is, I dont know what to do?
