Captain Underpants

WyattsMom's picture

My kiddo likes to admire himself in the mirror while wearing his little underpants.   He will pose this way and that, standing on a chair.  When he is in a self-admiring mood he will bring me a pair of his underwear so I can help him put them on.  Any other time, he wants nothing to do with his undies.

Here's a picture of him up to no good, standing on a box, trying to grab our CD player from my closet.

This is a cheesy idea, but

This is a cheesy idea, but have you thought about putting a mirror on the toilet seat-lid so he can watch himself peeing? Michael tends to lean in at Wal-Mart and look at his reflection on the metal backs and granted he usually makes a mess.

Actually, that is a great

Actually, that is a great idea! When I paint Wyatt's room this summer I plan to install a mirror in there to help him with dressing. A mirror over the bathroom sink has not been helpful because Wyatt gets distracted looking at himself. But I don't think it will be a problem if there is a mirror by the toilet for Wyatt. It might encourage him to stay there for a while.

I am glad my goof of a mind

I am glad my goof of a mind came up with so something productive. One of my best friends (Russel because I may mention him more and more and he is just a friend, like a brother) say it is a curse for people like him and I, we are great at solving other's problems, but never our own. That we prefer to look at the problems of others and dig through their mess than our own.

Mirrors for Michael are BAD. Last summer at CAMPS (no idea what it stood for) there was a huge 2way mirror, but if he crashed into a fit of tears, the mirror only made it worse. He cried to see himself cry.

What a good idea!
