Dandelions are, after all, THE traditional first bouquet a mother receives from her child. The first bouquet I ever received from my son was three dandelions picked from our back yard. The next spring, it was crocuses found in a nearby ditch. I'm still waiting for roses.

I love gardenias. My mom loved them too but they made
her sneeze so she said we'd have to wait until she
died to give her gardenias. Her casket was covered with
a blanket of gardenias =)

Where we used to live
Where we used to live in Lebec Ca. there were wild flowers each year. People
would come from miles to see the hills all abloom. Some
"older" folks may
remember the umbrella project. We had yellow umbrellas up all over the mountains
