We're going on vacation at the end of the week, back on June 24th.  I don't know if I'm going to have much internet access while I'm gone.  I'll try to say "hi" from the road, in any case, I'll miss you guys!!!

We're doing a road trip in our hybrid-mobile, so replacing our 2 bald tires is on my to-do list before Saturday.  We're  taking 2 cheap-lodging nights to zip through Nevada and Utah to get to Colorado.  The first destination is Glenwood Springs for the hot springs pool www.hotspringspool.com  Maybe you can catch a glimpse of us on that site's webcam on Monday and Tuesday of next week.  You can see me in all of my chubbiness wearing my matronly, skirted, red bathing costume (or maybe I'll wear the black one).  We're not actually staying at that resort because it's like $200 a night--we're cabin camping near Eagle instead.  Note to self:  Pack sheets and bedding.

Then we're on our way to southern Colorado/northern New Mexico for some scenic train rides.  More cabin camping involved.  After that, we're zipping through Arizona to pick up my mom on the way home.  Wish we had more time for fun, but we have get back here for Wyatt's summer school.  Maybe I'm a little nutty to try to pack all that distance/adventure into 10 days with the dog and the autistic 4 yr old and then the grandma--all on a budget, but you only live once!
