Me and my girl

Goodmorning all...  I finally got around to putting up a picture.   This is me and Trinity.   My grandson took it on his camera phone yesterday.   It's not the greatest quality, but it will do for now.      She will get a kick out of it when she sees it.   She likes to sit with me and watch while I type.   I hope she learns how to use the internet in the near future.   Writing is a challenge for her.   She knows her alphabet and how to write all the letters, but putting them together to make words is progressing slowly.

She has computer experience from school.   Her teacher says she has "mouse" trouble.    I think that is because she is VERY left handed.   The mouse, like so many things in life, is geared for right handed people...of which I am one.    The good news is...she has a very good memory .   She is always surprising me with recall.

Last night we were watching "Americas Got Talent"...and she said....."Can David sing?"    (The Militello boy from last weeks show.)   I had to explain that he wasn't going to be on this weeks show.    She was disappointed.   She really likes him.     Me too.

Hi turmangirl, There is

Hi turmangirl,

There is usually a facility in the settings for "flipping" the left and right mouse buttons to make a mouse work more naturally in the left hand.  Avoiding getting the ones curved to fit the right hand also helps.  I haven't seen a mouse curved to fit the left hand, but probably there is one "out there" somehwere.

Thanks for that "mouse" info

Thanks for that "mouse" info Perc.....   I am not the sharpest knife in the drawer when it comes to the computer.    I will speak to my son about that.

Another issue is computer setup.   All the room on my desk in on the right!
