Are any of you guys going methyl B12 shots? I have to say that this is the treatment that gets the most bang for the buck around here. Since we have been doing the shots, my daughter is LOTS more aware of everything and more interested in US.
It was worth it alone for the time we came home from being out of town at the Green Our Vaccines rally a few weeks ago. We were gone4 days and she was on cloud 9 to see us. Lots of kissing, laughing, huge smile. She pulled us all together and we had a group hug. She was saying "DADDDDDDDYYYYY".
Her sense of humor also seems to have improved and she sings a lot. She has actually done things to make us laugh and you can tell it was on purpose. She has lots of laughing now days. She started laughing at something yesterday and I swear she was doubled over and even slapped knee.
The MB12 is not a cure and it hasn't done a lot on speech for us, but still it's the treatment that I would say is the best value so far.
PS - Starting Specific Carbo Diet and I thought GFCF would be tough. Gulp.

We don't do the shots but
We don't do the shots but use methy (something) which is the broken down form of B12. I give 6 mls by mouth daily.
Can't say if this specifically has done anything but there is lots of evidence that support Vitamin B.
We are rather fortunate to have found a medical doctor, so some of his consultation is covered by our insurance. The supplements can be expensive, especially the compounded ones, but I break it down to how much it costs on a daily level, and on this level we spend maybe $5 daily. So I can cope with the money when I think of it like this.
I still save money, I divide what I have and put it into little pockets and I don't steal from one pocket to another. I go without, if I don't have the money. And just basic save for the future, and it does add up.
There's not a lot of bio-med
There's not a lot of bio-med activity on this site (at least not in the last 3 months while I've been a member). Personally, I would like to give some of it a try, but we cannot afford all of those labs and DAN doctors right now--the one in my area charges $700/hr-- and we're not willing to mortgage our home. Also, it would be phsyically tough on my son.
What I would really like to try is stem cell therapy but that is about $15k and you have to go out of the US for it. It seems like that would provide a blanket healing to whatever ails anyone.
We need stem cell
We need stem cell research..., Thank God Obama believes in it coz I think he's
going to be our next president =)
There was a news story on
There was a news story on this site about a family that went down to Costa Rica and got stem cell therapy for their daughter. It wasn't fetal stem cells though, it was umbilical chord cells. So not so much controversy.
Cindy, you sure seem to
Cindy, you sure seem to have a lot of faith that the government is gonna save us. They like to fix problems they created in the first place.
