Preschool Graduation

Lala is graduating from Preschool tonight.  According to her teachers, she has been practicing the songs and doing the hand movements.  For Christmas 2011 her class sang "I want a Hippopotamus for Christmas."  We practiced at home and Lala would sing and sing.  When it came time for the Christmas pageant she did not sing.  However, she did stand in place, she didn't run off the stage, she did the arm movements, and most importantly she looked like she was enjoying herself.  She will be wearing her cap and gown during the performance tonight and I hope she has fun.  

Her graduation is not with the public school she attended this year.  It is with the private Christian school that I have had her in since she was two.  I have kept her in this school as long as I could and next year she will only be attending public school.

One of Lala's favorite things to do is wear dresses.  So, she will be picking out her dress tonight.  She will also pick out her shoes (bought two pair today and will be returning one pair tomorrow).  I'll see if she wants to wear her bracelets and necklaces too.  

Tonight we will be celebrating and I am going to totally enjoy the moments.
