I loved the old metal ones
I loved the old metal ones when I was little. Maybe because when I was 10 I cracked my pinky finger on the playground at school, it was oneof the nicer plastic and colored metal types.
The only downfal to the old slides, that is a very hot butt going down.

Up here in the Great White North - it's not the hot butt one has to worry about - it's the cold butt and the hands fffffreezing to the metal in the wwwintertime - lol.

OK - I have no "smart" comment for this one. We had similar slides here when I was growing up and I had no idea how flimsy they looked.

I remember going to Stonehurst Park in Calif when I
was a kid. The slides were sturdier than that and
fun but scarey ugh. I didnt know that I was afraid of
heights, I loved the ride but not the climb up.
