Hello, Marcos Stout here again. I am interested in participating in any upcoming events that promote awareness and funds for individuals with autism. Is there any coming up soon near Huntington Beach, CA? I was also curious to know what type of other events people have attended besides walk-a-thons. Please feel free to share any experiences. I wanted to tell you about an Autism Conference we are co-hosting with the Association for Science in Autism Treatment on April 3, 2012. This all day conference will take place at Baruch College in New York City and offer BCBA Type II CEUs upon completion. This conference will feature autism specific vendors, networking opportunities and educational presentations by ASAT members including a keynote address by Bridget Taylor Psy.D., BCBA-D. This is an event special needs parents, autism advocates, autism therapists and students would enjoy.
